Duration of the program: 3 Weeks.
Location: Jaipur, India.
Program Dates: Available from May to August every year.Program Fees: $1100 for 3 weeks.
Pick up Facility:Once you arrive in Jaipur, we will arrange a pick up facility for you and will drop you at an accommodation with an Indian Host family.
Stay with Indian family:Enjoy a homely stay at an Indian Host family house where you get a sumptuous purely vegetarian food. While you enjoy the delicious meals, you also get to know about rich Indian culture and traditions. So this will be like an exchange program where you will fall in love with Indians and feel like being one of them.
Hotel Accommodation:During the Tour Program you will be having Hotel accomodation in Agra and Delhi.
Tour Locations:Jaipur, Taj Mahal Agra, Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri, Abhaneri, Sikandra, 4 famous places in Delhi, India.
Transportation: During the tour we arrange an air-conditioned Toyota Etios or one of the similar standards Car with well experienced English-speaking Driver.For the volunteer program we will arrange Tuk-Tuk facility so that participants can feel like Jaipur locals who use Tuk-tuk for daily transportation.
What is included: Arranging your Programme, Pre-departure information and support by email/phone, Arrival pickup from Jaipur, Program relevant materials, Accommodation with Indian Host Family during volunteer program, Hotel Accomodation in Agra and Delhi. 3 Meals ( Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner during volunteer work ), Transportation facility for project site, Weekend Sightseeing’s Tours, BreakFast at Hotel, Drop off to Delhi airport or desired location in Delhi and 24 hours of admin support.
What is not included:Internet, Mineral Water Bottle, Monument Entry Fees and any kind of personal expenses.
About our Children Program:-
In our Children program we have orphan, street and children which are kidnapped by the criminal gangs in India; these children involved in child labor by the criminal gangs. Many of them are left by their parents on railway station, bus stands, and next to traffic signals to do activites like begging, vending, selling cigarettes and tobacco, pedding lottery tickets etc. We have rescued all these children and bring them in our childcare center. To provide them accomodation, food, education and with all the necessary things which a child needs for his growth. Since 2008 we have repatriate around 2500 children.
You as a volunteer will be involved in activities such as teaching them basic English and mathematics, personality development classes. Personality development includes talking about having a positive attitude towards life, self-esteem, manners, speaking and behaving in public etc. In addition you can teach them Alphabets, Counting, Days of weeks, Months of year, manners, writing practice etc. You will also be involved in activities related to art & craft work, such as drawing and henna painting. Health education programs such as the AIDS-awareness program make them be aware of health & hygiene tips and nutrition. Sports and games have also been organized by volunteers in order to develop their physical stamina; all these are very helpful in making their life better and in rehabilitating them.
About our Women Program :-
Our Women Empowerment Project help the women which are living in rural & backward areas, slums, villages and the women living in an object poverty. We arerunning a center in Jaipur where we give education and training program to women. There are around everyday 80 women come in our center which get basic education and training program. We are giving training to women in the field of mehandi, drawing, painting & stitching work. By getting these free training course they can get good job or can run their own work as it is very popular work here in India. Along with it we also provide them everyday Basic English & Maths classes. This program also offer 1 to 1 group counselling with all the women in our center.

A Day With Elephants:-
We will bring you to the Elephant Village where you will be involved in the activities such as feeding them, get in close with them & make chapati's for elephants to eat. This is the great way for you to interact with mahouts families too which live with elephants in the Village to get to know about their life and Elephants too.
Golden Triangle Tour India:-
We arrange 3 nights/4 days trip for the India's famous Golden Triangle Tour to discover and explore the alluring charm of Jaipur, Agra & Delhi in the most fascinating ways! The journey covers the most popular tourist destinations of Jaipur ( Rajasthan ), Taj Mahal Agra, Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri, Abhaneri, Sikandra, 4 famous places in Delhi, India.
LANGUAGE BARRIER
Language is not a problem for the international participants joining the program. The host family, our staffs, taxi drivers and kids/women in the program can understand basics.
However if you are un-comfortable with the language barrier you can join a week Hindi Lesson Class which run 90 minutes Monday to Friday costs $150 for a week. During submission of OnlinE application you can request in the form.

Volunteer Week Detail
Day 1: Today you will arrive in Jaipur. A VWI staff member will pick you up from your arrival destination and welcome you. After picking you up, we will transfer you to the host family accommodation. We will introduce you to the host family members and guide you through the accommodation facilities and your local surroundings. You will be given a run down about the project, your daily working schedule, rules and regulation of volunteering, what the dos and donts are of travelling in India are and advise you about facilities any traveller might need in a new place.
Day 2 to Day 8:We will bring you to our Children Program site. Your work will covered there every day by Teach them Basic English & Mathematics, Organize Health Education and AIDS awareness program, help the local health program coordinator for the daily check-up of children, Organize fun games for them that involve drawing, singing, dancing, and other creative educational activities.
Day 9 to Day 16: You will be transferred to our Women Empowerment project site. Your first day will be a learning experience, meeting new faces and seeing what your role will be. Days at the project site will include taking part in Teaching Basic English & Maths to women and children at the program site, skilled development training courses stitching work, beautician course & henna paint. And maybe even a few spontaneous Bollywood dance-offs. Volunteer working days will be five days a week, Monday to Friday.
Day 17:Get ready to see your Elephants. You will be transfer to our project site. It’s time to get a wonderful ride by auto-rickshaw for the elephant village as it located near Royal Amber fort. Project site is covered by beautiful mountain valley. Our project coordinator will be with you there & he will tell you about how to care the elephants & help the mahouts.
Weekends:The weekends are free for you to relax and enjoy the Pink City of Jaipur. Every weekend we arrange sightseeing tour of Jaipur beautiful historical places, cultural places and programs with our VWI staff team. Volunteers have opportunity to meet with other volunteers also from other projects sites as everybody gets together on these days. There are several other side trips that you can join which will greatly enhance your experience of Rajasthan, India.
Tour Program Itinerary
Day 18:-Start from Jaipur in Morning proceed to visit Agra. We will pick you from your Hotel/Guest house in Jaipur through an air-conditioned Toyota Etios or one of the similar standards Car with well experienced English-speaking Driver. One the way visit Abhaneri and Fatehpur Sikri. You will reach Agra in evening. Check in to Hotel and Relax. Overnight stay at Hotel in Agra.Day 19:-In morning visit the world-famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Back to hotel for breakfast, after breakfast visit Red Fort of Agra and Agra City Tour. Overnight stay at Hotel in Agra.
Day 20:-Early Morning after Breakfast proceed to Delhi which is 230 km's. Reach Delhi at 11:30 a.m. Check inn to your pre-booked hotel. Post Lunch at 1:30 p.m we will bring you for the sightseeing tour to - Jama masjid, Qutab minar, Humayun Tomb and India gate. Once the sightseeing finishes at 6:00 p.m we will bring you back to Hotel. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 21:-Early Morning after Breakfast proceed to visit President House, Mahatma Gandi memorial, Lotus Temple & Akshardham Mandir. After visit we will drop you to airport or your desired location in Delhi. Tour finishes in sweet memories with you.
Sightseeing Tour Places
During the Volunteering Week Schedule every weekend we organise sightseeing tour of the famous Tourist Spots in Jaipur which includes Monkey Palace, Amber Fort, Jaigarh Fort, Water Palace, Albert Museum & Birla Temple.
Abhaneri:- Abhaneri is a a village on the way from Jaipur to Agra. Abhaneri is prominent for ‘Baoris’, which are the unique invention of the natives for harvesting rain water. Amongst the other step wells, Chand Baori is the most popular one. This colossal step well is located in front of the Harshat Mata Temple. Chand Baori is one of India’s deepest and largest step wells. The huge tank with delicate carvings certainly is delightful to the eyes. Step wells are the unique concept of India. These big tanks were used as cool places of resort and water reservoir in parched days. It was a ritual to wash hands and feet before visiting the temple.
Taj Mahal:- Taj Mahal is one of the famous finest architecture of the world. It is in a seven wonders of World and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built in (1631-1653) with the orders of Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz. 20,000 workers labored and 32 crore rupees were spent during the construction of the monument and it was built according to Islamic architecture. The meaning of Taj Mahal in English is ‘ Place of Crown ‘. Taj Means Crown and Mahal means place.
Sikandra – Construction of this beautiful monument was started by Akbar himself. This structure is a perfect blend of Hindu, Christian, Islamic, Buddhist, Jain motifs. But Akbar died before his mausoleum could be completed and his son Jehangir completed it.
