🌟 Who We Are – Volunteering With India (VWI)
Volunteering With India (VWI) is a registered volunteering organization by the Government of Rajasthan, India. Established in 2008, we’ve been dedicated to creating transformative volunteer programs in India that blend meaningful community service with immersive cultural adventures. Every year, 150+ international volunteers join our programs and contribute to lasting change in local communities.
We welcome participants from all around the world throughout the year, with an age group ranging from 16 years up to seniors in their 70s. Participants **under 16 can also join if accompanied by their family or an adult participant**. You can **bring your family and little kids** and enjoy volunteering together, creating lasting memories while giving back. Whether you are a gap year student, cultural exchange participant, volunteer abroad traveler, professional, or retiree, our programs are open and inclusive. Our volunteering opportunities are also family-friendly.
Participants can choose flexible program durations, from a minimum of 3 days up to a maximum of 12 weeks, allowing you to find the experience that best fits your schedule and interests.

VWI began with a simple dream shared by a group of friends: to create a platform where their love for volunteering could become a powerful force for social good. What started as a modest initiative blossomed into a vibrant network committed to rural development, education, women’s empowerment, and animal welfare.
Over the years, we’ve:

➡️ Organized theater and drama activities that inspired confidence and joy among young students
➡️ Supported orphanages and street children throughout Jaipur

These deeply personal experiences fueled our vision to build a welcoming home for volunteers eager to give back, learn, grow, and be part of something meaningful.
Today, Volunteering With India runs programs throughout Jaipur and surrounding villages, giving international volunteers opportunities to directly support education, women’s rights, animal care, and grassroots development.
