No nosso Programa de Voluntariado Médico our prime focus is on providing and supporting the population which lives in rural and slums in Jaipur. We have a local clinics in rurals & slums part of Jaipur. The clinic reassures them that they are not alone in this world, strengthens their self-confidence and shows that somebody is there to care for, love and support them. If you have no experience doctors will show you all they can and introduce you to many different cases. If you come with a medical background, you will be given more responsibility and the potential to get more hands-on work. Everyday there are more than 200 patients come and visit our clinics. In our Clinic there is Doctor, Nurse, Compounder, Counselor , Receptionist & local volunteer which provide free health check-up, treatment of general sickness, accidental cases, provide counselling for health and fitness. This service is generally for the children or people which are not able to afford medicine, doctor fees, not aware by the diseases and come from BPL (below poverty line).
Most of the time, street children are over-exploited and forced into jobs where they have to work continuously even during sickness. The hazardous and unprotected environment of these street children leads to various health problems such as tuberculosis, asthma, hepatitis, jaundice, malaria, respiratory tract infections, sexually transmitted infections and HIV/AIDS etc. This problem is further aggravated by poor delivery of and access to health services. Their lower awareness and literacy levels also prevent them from finding such services. When you volunteer in our program in Jaipur you’ll be adding value to the local community, while also developing personally and professionally by:
This project works everyday Monday to Friday for 5 hours in morning. We will pick you from the accommodation in Jaipur and bring you to our Medical Clinic in Jaipur.

Leia mais I had the best time during this volunteer program, i learnt a lot regarding to medicine and Indian coulture. My experience was definitely very unique here. I definitely recommend people to volunteer with this organization especially if they want to get medical experience. I only would add one thing which is ensuring that we work more than 4 hour shift because there are people who want to grasp more hours. The location was great because we also get to go sightseeing in Jaipur. Also, this program allowed us to better understand Indian culture specifically Rajasthani culture and how medicine works differently than where I’m from. Thank you for good experience. Guest house and food there was really good. Support also. Rohit is very competent man! I take away an interesting experience from the clinic, one week was short. For future volunteers, I would recommend to join at least for 2 weeks and visiting other places as well. I had a wonderful time in the medical program in Jaipur. We could assist to the medical checkup of youngsters from other states who were found working in factories and now are temporarily living, learning and playing at the NGO center. After that we went to the street for medical checkups inside an equiped ambulance. It was a great experience and I will definetly recommend others to join the program. Mobile medicine is a nice idea for local people who are in need or who live in some rural areas. During the experience of medical project here, I had chance to understand the local medical conditions and problems in India. I could discuss those problems with local workers, and tried to find a better ways of volunteering. I could participate in the process of medical consultation, preparing and giving medicine. We also checked the physical conditions of children in the village once a week. I have also learned some local... PORMENOR DA SEMANA DO VOLUNTARIADO
Dia 1: Hoje chegará a Jaipur.
Pros : Learning culture, Family environment.
Cons: None.
I had a chance to assist the staff by operating medical devices, measuring blood pressure and make injections.
Everybody was very friendly and I felt comfortable working in a small team in the clinic. I would recommend it to anyone interested in working in healthcare and gaining some medical experience.
I think 2 weeks is a minimum. The program is mainly observational and to provide hands on support with the help of doctor.
I was so proud of myself at the first time that I finished the all process of preparing medicine and giving them to the patients by their language.
After a strong cultural impact due to diversity in the approach with the patient, inadeguate medical devices and a huge language barrier I found a wonderful team that taught me to recognize the associations of Indian drugs, the most common diseases in India and to deliver medicines to patients.
So, even without ‘standard’ medical acts, I felt part of the team and it just made me feel like I was doing something.
Definitely I would do this experience a million times again.
